    • The Accompanying Immigrants in Detention (AID) program enables ICOM volunteers to directly support immigrant detainees and their families who live in the Twin Cities area. They accompany individuals in immigration detention and their families, provide emotional and financial support and help make connections to resources.

    • Fighting to end detention and deportation in Southeast Asian communities. ReleaseMN8’s mission is to provide direct support to Southeast Asian families impacted by detention and deportation through community organizing and leadership development to bring about social and political change.

    • A Black-led immigrant organization working at the intersection of Blackness and immigration that works on legal clinics, policy, mutual aid, support for undocumented Black immigrants, story telling and resource sharing.

  • Volunteer Lawyer Network (VLN)
    • VLN is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Minnesotans experiencing poverty with some of the top private lawyers in the state at no cost. Connecting volunteer attorneys with clients in need. Call 612-752-6677.

  • USCIS Case Status
    • If you have an Application Receipt Number from the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services), you can check the status of your case online. The 13-character Application Receipt Number is found on application notices from USCIS.
